Build Your UMPC introduces our new hassle-free Express Warranty Service.  It covers all UMPCs and accessories sold at Build Your UMPC during the product's manufacturer warranty period.  One of the most important factors when buying online is the post-sale support you’ll receive.  We understand this importance and the inconvenience when malfunctions occur.   We have developed this service to quickly and efficiently repair your device.  Build Your UMPC will email a pre-paid FedEx shipping label and all that is required is to print and tape the label on a box containing your device and drop it off at your local FedEx/Kinko’s shipping center.  Build Your UMPC will take care of the rest and return your device as soon as it is repaired.  

Please note some of our manufacturers are located overseas.  It may take an additional few days for overseas transit.  In the event a device is deemed damaged and not covered under the manufacturer warranty, Build Your UMPC will contact you with the cost of repair.  The customer will be responsible for paying shipping costs.

To initiate a warranty claim, please email support@buildyourumpc.com with the following information. 

1)      Full Name

2)      Telephone #

3)      Order #

4)      Serial # of the device

5)      Description of the problem

After your email is received, we will contact you to troubleshoot the issue and in the event warranty service is required, provide a pre-paid shipping label for service as described above.

Returns:

All returns must be initiated within 15 days of purchase and are subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Although we do not like charging a restocking fee, we are required to rebuild or service the product and resell it at a 15% discount.  Restocking fees will be at the discretion of Build Your UMPC.
